Lisa Gniady – Kundalini Yoga and Gong Meditation

Lisa Gniady spent 13 years as a Wall Street trader after graduating from University of Michigan with a Bachelors in Business Administration.  At the age of 35 she left the rat race behind, moved to Chicago and became a mother.  When her youngest daughter was two, she took her first 200 hour yoga training for Hatha yoga. She is a Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher, has taught Therapeutic Kids yoga, Girl Scout Yoga and was instrumental in getting a Yoga patch for the local Girl Scout Council. Continuing her education she trained in Reiki, and has just completed her 500 hour certification in Kundalini Yoga.

Gong Events and teaching  yoga and Kundalini Yoga classes in the Chicagoland Area allow her to share her over 20+ years of Yoga Experience to all who attend her classes. She has written articles for Yoga Chicago Magazine and has presented at the Iowa City Yoga Festival and Bhakti Fest Midwest.

Lisa’s events are typically scheduled on Wed evenings.  Kundalini class is taught first followed by an hour of Gong in a separate class. Watch for a variety of different Gong classes in 2016, including Meditative Mandala Creation, Guidance from the Gong Intuitive Readings and more!
Kundalini Yoga is referred to as the “Yoga of awareness”, and is an uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices. It incorporates Yoga poses, breath, mudra, meditation and chants. The effects of this combination are concentrated and powerful, making it perfect for busy people. Kundalini is an amazing technology that is sure to inspire and uplift.
